Two tennis players, Paige Wise and Thembo Makhanya, from Durban and now on tennis scholarships in the USA were both named “Player of the Week” in their local Conference.
Paigie is at Francis Marion and Thembo at Emmanuel College, what a lovely tennis accolade !! So proud of you both, brilliant achievement. Congratulations, all the way from Pro Tennis Academy in Durban.

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Thembo Makhanya of Emmanuel has been chosen as the Conference Carolinas men's tennis Player of the Week for the week ending March 20, 2022.
Makhanya helped lead Emmanuel to a perfect 3-0 team record last week. The junior from Durban, South Africa was 2-0 (one unfinished) at No. 1 singles in the three team victories. He was also a perfect 3-0 at No. 2 doubles in the three matches.
